Ask a Tamil Nadu founder about product, sales, or culture and they will teach you something. Ask them about a cap table, a term sheet, or a financial model, and the room goes quiet.
That is not a talent problem. It is a knowledge gap. Most founders are never taught fundraising, financial modelling, or how investors think.
Accounting explains the past. Finance shapes the future-how much cash you need, who you hire, and how you grow over the next few years.
We built Scenius School to close that gap for good.
We want the next generation of Tamil Nadu founders to walk into any room and hold their own. Not by luck. By understanding the game.
For students from finance or engineering backgrounds who want to break into VC as an analyst or in a founder's office, we prepare you the way the industry actually expects. You will not learn by trial and error on the job. You will walk in ready to shine from day one.
Micheal has spent his career on the investor side of the table for the last 5 years. Investment roles across a venture capital fund, a SEBI registered angel fund, and multiple accelerators.
He has evaluated more than 2000 investment opportunities, was part of the IC team for more than 40 deals ranging from $100K to $4Mn rounds, onboarded over a dozen early stage startups, and helped founders close pre-seed rounds through investor targeting, pitch refinement, and deal execution. At Scenius School he teaches founders exactly what an investor looks for, because he has been the one looking.
Hundreds of hours sitting across from founders, operators, and investors, asking the questions through his podcast. Being Scenius became Tamil Nadu's startup podcast by taking small-town founders seriously long before anyone else did.
Scenius School is what happened next. The same founders kept getting stuck at the same place, and none of it was taught anywhere in Tamil. So he built it. And he personally talks to every single applicant before they join. No exceptions.
Real stories from founders who trusted us to bring their ideas to life.
We run two streams, one for founders, one for future VCs.
Founders: You have an idea or an early-stage startup and want to raise the right way. We teach the real mechanics-cap tables, term sheets, valuations, what investors expect-before you learn them the hard way. No fundraising background needed.
Future VCs: You're a student from finance or engineering who wants to break into VC-as an analyst or in a founder's office. We give you the skills to walk in and shine from day one.
No jargon. No theory. Just how capital really moves-taught by people who've done it.
Small on purpose.
We cap every cohort to small batches for both founders and students. We keep it small so everyone gets personal attention and real one-to-one time, instead of getting lost in a crowd. Quality over quantity, always.
Once you fill the form, Sriram will reach out for a short conversation to understand where you are today and make sure the program is the right fit.
If you're a founder: we'll talk about your idea or business and where you are in your journey.
If you're a student: we'll talk about your background and where you want to go in VC.
If it's a match, we'll onboard you into the cohort and share the schedule and next steps.
The form itself takes about less than 5 minutes to fill out. After you submit, we usually get back to you within 1-2 days over a call. Seats are limited so earlier applications get priority.
